Portland is an epicenter of culture; food, arts, music, and nature, on the west coast. It was once a hidden gem but has grown in the last decade as people have gravitated towards its culture. As it has grown, I have watched the problems in the city grow too - housing, homelessness, and infrastructure have all suffered. Then this past year, rioting, violence, and destruction came to a head and I decided it was time for me to stop standing by while things happened that I didn't like. Instead, I believe that Portland is ready for change and that this next election could move us toward change. Write in "JOSEPH WHITCOMB" for Mayor and "Let's Do Portland Justice."
